Default mounting help

man ... that title sounds funny. I've been lurking and reading this forum for a while and with good vibes. Anyway ... I have a problem that I don't really know how to handle. I need to mount a graphic to a metal sign board. I usually use my laminator to help me do this ... but, I need the graphic to full bleed the board. How should I do that without the graphic sticking to the bottom roller of the laminator. Should I use a carrier sheet for that?

thanks

we would just go gorilla and trim the graphic to be a little larger than the metal. Then run it through and trim the fat afterward. So long as you don't leave too much bleed you should be fine.

How thick is the material? You can usually leave the thickness of the material x 2 of bleed and it won't stick to the rollers. I've left as much as 1 inch on the sides of a 6mm alumacorr with it sticking to the roller.

just feed a big piece of release liner, waxy side up, underneath the board with everything. then it won't stick.
