ICC profiles for Triangle inks

Any plans on adding the ICC profiles for the Nu-Sign/Triangle bulk-ink system. How hard is it to create profiles for other medias using such-and-such RIP and ink system?

Corey will be adding the Triangle ICC Profiles to our database here shortly. There are already quite a few of them and Nu-Sign is constaintly making more.

As for creating the profiles yourself you really need a Color Spectrophotometer to do it properly. It is however pretty easy to modify current profiles to print on different medias without any equipment. Your colors however may not be spot on.

Yes we are planning on adding profiles for the eco-solvent in from triangle. We are currently waiting for a CD to arrive with all there profiles on it for several different medias, printers and software. we expect to have them up here and available in the next few days.


To be able to create a profile you will need the fallowing-

1 Spectrophotometer (such as a I1)
2 profile maker 5.0 ( or a alternative software from a different company)
3 a Rip software ( like softrip, onyx, ect)

It will take time to learn how to make a profile. Making a profile is not as easy as point and click. There are many aspects of making a good profile. There are classes availible all over the us to teach you how to make a profile. Adverage cost for the equipment and profilemaking software is around $4000.00
