Question Contour Cut option for Wasatch....

I got a Wasatch SoftRip 5.1.4 off eBay. I do not have a printer yet (funny I know so I just wanted to know if it is worth getting the "Contour Cut" option for it while the rip is still under supprt contract. The printers I'm considering are SP-540V or if the budget allows JV3-160SP. I'm pretty sure it would be nice to cut directly from the rip on 540V but what if you have separate machines? Would it be better to do the printing from the rip and then cut it from Flexi or similar software?

Right now I can get the Contour Cut addon for 250. after the contract expires it will be $500... Should I invest the $250 into something else???

Thanks all

Yes it would be best to get the cut option. You will need it for the 540v. The jv3 with the cutter it is not needed for but it is a nice option.

If you buy a Versacamm then the cut option is a must.
