Default Flexi 8.1 Install Question

We have the discs for Flexi 8.1 ... when we install the program it will not let us run it because it 'cannot find the hardware key that matches the password'. Is there a way to bi-pass this? This is not an illegal version - it is an older version that we no longer have the key for and we do believe that there is a way of generating a new 'key' - we are just not sure how.... can anyone help??? (so we don't have to spend the big bucks to buy the key or upgrade AGAIN!!!grrrr!!)

Thanks!

I feel your pain on this one mckeebs! I hate to tell you this, but when I had the same issue, I had to buy a new key. The good thing is that the replacement key for me was only $200.00 when I purchased it from the company I originally bought the software from. I think you need to go back to the company you bought your package from and tell them you need a new key. In order to avoid the same thing happening in the future, I decided to buy the software key version.

Wish I had better news for you!!!

These are the days that I wish I were a computer genius.... When we contacted SAi...they wanted us to buy the upgrade and spend $$$$ - so I guess we will play around with this a bit longer with hopes that someone might have the magical solution before we have to breakdown and buy another key.

Thanks John! We appreciate your response.
