Default Chrome foil, transparent and static????

I have been trying to find a chrome foil material that I can run through my Roland. I read an article about an upgrade that made this possible but it didn't contain many details.

The company prints stickers on white adhesive-backed media, but is considering upgrading the machine to allow it to use the same stock used for screen-printed stickers, which includes chrome foil, clear and static-cling vinyl.

Sept2004, Digital Output

I have tried printing stock chrome that we use in screen printing but the eco-sol wouldn't dry, just ended with a big blob. We added the upgrade drying unit, upgraded media flanges and updated software. But I don't think that is what they are talking about....

Does anyone know what kind of chrome I can use on xc-540. I would really like to print on Chrome foil, transparent and static.

Thkx

Rtape has some printable metalics that have worked very well for us in both our HP9000 and JV3/Triangle
