Default saving a pdf with diff versions of photoshop

hello, i have a customer who is very picky with the color of his design. for the last 2 years i have been using his design in photoshop and saving it as a pdf from photoshop. i was using just regular adobe ps. i just installed adobe ps3 and i have his design and exporting it as a pdf and now it has a different color. the colors are slightly off.

when i had basic adobe ps i never adjusted the pdf settings, i just always used the default. and same here in ps3 i used the defaults but it does tell me this message (preserve photoshop editing capabilities is incompatible with earlier versions of photoshop. in earlier versions you mst open the pdf as a generic pdf (not as a photoshop pdf, do you want to continue).

so of course i have to click yes.

does anyone know what i can do to get the original settings back to normal?
