Can someone tell me how to go about installing 3rd party profiles (Oracal) into Versaworks, I can't find any instruction on this anywhere. I've downloaded the profiles from Oracals site, open the Zip file to find an RML file, what is an RML file and what do I do with it to get that profile into Versaworks?

RML (Roland Media Language). Go to Media Explorer, look a the icons, you'll see a folder when the mouse hovers over it it says load from file. Click on that, and direct the explorer to the file. When you add, be sure to follow the on screen prompts or the profile will not be added. DO NOT x out, keep pressing ok to globally add the profile to Ques A and B. After exiting Media Explorer, open up a job and be sure that the profile is available. Also, Roland supports a few 3rd party manufacturers by writing their own profiles for the Rolands. I prefer this method. For example, if you download Oracal 3164G profile from Oracal, you only have one print mode-standard. If you are in Versaworks and click the help button, you will see something that says Versaworks online. Go there, and you will see 3rd party profile(or something like that). They have profiles for Avery, Oracal, and a handful of others. They work really well. I;m sorry if this is a mouthful of info, that's slightly vague, but I am a tech, and don't really use this everyday. I hope this helps.
