Is anyone using Wasatch (I have 6.4) with a roland VP- I have issues and
would like to see if it is working for others before I contact Wasatch. Thanks Gene |

I don't have that printer, but support from Wasatch is outstanding. I asked a simple feed calibration question and they were ready to contact Roland to see if some driver work was needed. Go ahead and contact support (if you still have a service contract).

Hi Shane- I am still covered and I will call- I have had great service as well.
I didn't figure calling till next week would be fruitfull and I wanted to see if others were satisfied with that combo. I suspect that most VP owners use VersaWorks with canned profiles and that Wasatch has not a lot of experience with VP printers. I upgraded my Wasatch when I bought the printer 2-3 months ago and have never gotten prints as good as my old SP- not terrible but not as good. I finally tried VersaWorks (2.6) with a profile for Roland ink (I use/love Triangle) and the prints are much better- more what I expected. I am now trying to do a profile with my i1 in VersaWorks to improve the color. I always get into the mindwarp where I wonder if it is the profile/rip/printer/me. Thanks Gene |
