Flexi polls the size on my Graphtec 7000 but does so incorrectly... Places the decimal in the wrong place. Instead of polling 18.52, Flexi polls 1.85... Although, Flexi does poll the size on my Summa S75 via USB correctly.

Just tried it with my 545ex via ethernet and same thing, will not poll... Drivers must not be written correctly.

To fix your plotter you need to be running at least Flexi 7.6v2 SP1 and get a firmware patch from Graphtec. Both of which should be downloadable from their respective web sites. Both of these together will fix the FC7000 polling problem. It certainly fixed mine.

I can't speak to printer polling problems except that Flexi dosen't seem to support size polling for a TCP/IP interface. Not only doesn't it work, but someone somewhere in a position to know told me that this is not a problem just The Way Things Are.

Thumbs up

Update:
I mostly print from VeraWorks but when I do print out of Flexi poll size never worked. I just downloaded and installed the latest firmware 6.20 this morning and it seems to have fixed that issue.
