Default Versaworks II- any info?

I saw that an improved version of VW is offered with the new Roland printer.
Has anyone seen it or have any info? I assume that an upgrade will be offered
at some time. I am kinda struggling getting up to speed on Softrip and I know
that my daughter will have trouble with it- I may not live forever. Gene

Today my VW updatet it self to Version 2.0.1 that is the new version.
I could see the special color lib but havent had the time to play with it.

The only thing i noticed is that the cut contour where breaking up. On my Sc540 with Colorip it printet the same file and made a clean cut all the way around the sticker. But with the VW/ Sp300 it suddenly liftet the knife 3 placeses.
I dont know if it is a bug in the update.

You must open up the Que A and B folders, and go to File Format and set the EPS margin to 0.35in.

I just upgraded to Versaworks 2.0.1 (although I use Wasatch Softrip) and I see it now supports DTP 20 Pulse Spectrometer (which I use for profiling)

Here in the U.S., I haven't been able to update. Hopefully the rollout will come soon for us.

Updated mine this morning. I printed a job this morning using it and it worked fine.

I have not had time to have a good look around but I will be running a number of jobs over the weekend, so I may use Versaworks and see how she goes.

My software was upgraded Sat. The big difference I see so far is the much more user friendly clip & tile function.

You can also add spot colors, and color replacement. They've also simplified the media feed cailbration options.
