Lately, when I Rip and Print a job and go to the Queues, it's not in the Print Queue, but is in the Rip Queue. I have to R&P again to get it to show up in the Print Queue, mostly it's there on the second go-round, but sometimes it takes 3 tries, sometimes there on the first, although these have become fewer and farther between. It doesn't seem to matter what the input file is either; EPS, PDF, JPG, TIF ... they all behave the same. I suppose I could re-run the update and or reinstall, but I was wondering if anyone else had this happen and what they did to remedy the situation. Can't for the life of me recall anything else I did when this started to occur ... it just did!

Inconsistant problems like that are tough to figure out. I would probably suggest removing and reinstalling the software if you can't figure it out in a short amount of time.

On mine - if I rip and print - then go to the que before the rip starts, it has problems but if I wait a few seconds when the rip starts (down in the task bar) -then go to the que, all is fine. This will happen every time, so I just wait a few for the rip to start.

It used to happen to me, but I've since gotten a new rip computer and it doesn't happen any more. Could be the fresh install, but I'm leaning toward the 1.5Gig Ram and the Athlon 64X2 as solving that for me.

Thanks all ... yeah, I'm thinking a reinstall too. But this happens even when I wait for the Rip to completely finish before going to the Queues and has been working without a hitch for over a year. Not that bothersome with small jobs, but a real hair-puller when you just waited 30 minutes for a Rip and have to do it again! ... now where is that CD? .....

just wait for the rip to begin befor opening the que dialog. if you open before the rip starts, the ripping won't start at all.
