When I bought my printer I got a P4 3.4gig computer with 1g of ram. Wasn't satisfied so I added a 2nd gig of ram. That helped but I finally replaced it with a dual core AMD that really cooks. As for my design computer, I run an old software... Anagraph. Its great but won't run on XP. That computer is a 1.5gh computer with 1g of ram which works fine for vector designs but really suffers when I try to handle large bitmap files. I use a Belkin switch box to switch between computers... same monitor & keyboard for both
