Default Roland Versacamm/SOLJET Media Basket

One of our very own members (CW Graphix) contacted me a few weeks ago letting me know that he had created/invented a new product for the Roland printers. The product was a Media Basket for the Roland printers. Instantly I was intrigued and asked that he send me one to review on the site. Although

Got it, took about 25 minutes to assemble.

Was done pretty easy, sliding bars a little tight, but, better than it being so loose they fall out.

Was here faster than I expected, too!

Jason- I have called and you were out sick left a message for you to call me back! Cant remember who answered the phone but I told them that I am out of baskets until after the new year! I left both my #'s with the person that took the message! I need to know what sizes you need and I can get them on my list for Jan. the Guy that machines the parts for me is swamped and cant do anything until then!

To all the people that inquired about the baskets! The end of the month I will have 10 of the 540 baskets and 10 of the sp300 if want one get a hold of me they are going fast!

I got one of these for my 540 after being tired of crap getting on my prints and having to babysit the long ones. Although it's no media take-up reel, it does a very good job of containing the prints and keeping them off of the floor. I do find that I still need to watch the prints as they start to stack up in the basket, to aid them in not touching print face to print face (even with using the quick drying Triangle inks, I've ruined some prints that this happened to). Still, it's a good solution for a printer w/o a take up reel. Unlike a powered take-up reel, it can be used with print/cut jobs.

Thanks For the kind words Chris, Glad you like it! To all that dont have one i have about 6 left for the sp300 and 4 left for the 540v, PM me if your interested! I would have them all sold if it wasnt for the high cost of shipping across seas!
