Here's and interesting email I got this morning...
Hi, I am in need of a sign. In these ridiculously tough economic times, however, I need to ask which way your company's owner is going to vote before I can bring my dollars to you. Thank you so much, Marla

I'm pretty sure it's just a crap email anyway. My guess is it's just for collecting valid emails from the people who reply.

Yes, the English is just sketchy enough to suspect a harvesting attempt, with the next email coming being:

I've written an article for a signforums.com newsletter to be published soon on how these scams operate... keep your eyes open for it.

Although I believe this to be harvesting, there is some interesting ideas about the question. I found that if your a union shop, you will get business from the Democrats. If your non-union, then Republicans will often use you. I've been asked the union question many times. I always tell them I am a 1 person shop and therefore am independent. Pisses em off more than anything. In all honesty, if they are Democrats and are not using a Union shop, they loose the vote. Not that I give two hoots, but I would rather not spend my time with them anyways. I tell them I don't have a union bug to print nor would I as it would only cause me problems. Ticks em off as I can print the signs at such a lower cost!!!
