Default CAD cut lettering and pricing

Hello All.

Just getting into the plot cut lettering and was wondering how to go about pricing for this.

Lets say I am using Oracal 541 at about $0.27 per square foot...my cost

What would you charge per square foot???

What would your cost be for masking the print as well?

Thanks...Canoehound

I don't use a straight PSF pricing model. You also should factor in the level of difficulty in the weeding too....big ol' letters or lots of itty-bitty ones? If you want an overall average, then about $8.00 PSF retail is a good place to start.

Would that $8.00 psf be the same when you are mounting it on to a sub strait.

lets say a 18" x 24 " lawn sign 2 sided one colour...how would you price it out?

Here is a thread you might want to look at. Basically your location as well as the competition and what the market will bear all have a bearing on what you are able to charge.

This is a great tip and one I wish more people would use. There is nothing more frustrating than having someone leave money on the table because they're either too lazy or too ignorant to research their local market. Find out what the street price is for something and then charge a little more based on your quality, service, etc.
