I would like to know what people are charging for digitally printing, laminating, and installing a wrap on a 53' trailer with 3M 180C. The square footage is roughly 848 and the surface of the trailers can be flat with rivets,or corrugated with rivets.
Also, how long do you think the installation of 848 sqft should take? Thank you for your help! |

Wow this is a tough one. With that many sq feet even 1 dollar makes a huge difference in the price. Normally vehicle wraps on 3M 180C are about $18 a sq foot in my area. That would be $15,264 which sounds a bit high. I would probably be around $13 a sq foot on a job that large ($11,024).
As for how long it takes, that really depends on the number of rivets, how many people, and how good of an installer you are.

Barry,
Thank you for your pricing and installation input. Knowing what others are charging will make things easier on me. In our area, companies are printing and laminating the materials for $ 6.50 to $7 per square foot and doing the installation from $600 total to $2.50 per square foot. This makes the finished price of the printed/laminated materials $5,500 to $ 6,000 and the installation anywhere from $600 to $2,100. I had a feeling that our local prices would be lower than what other areas are getting, but not that much lower. Thanks again |

I'd be about $12 - $15 psf installed, although I've not done a job that large.

ours is about $9 per sq ft. most cases. We've done lower before, just depends on the job and if it may be a good marketing tool.

We would be at $4.75 s/f for wholesale. $7-$9 s/f to end users. 3M 180c w/ 8519 lam. 53 footer takes about 3 hours to print and laminate.
Install 3 guys =3-4hours. $1,200 wholesale , $1,850 to end users |

You got some fast installers! I think the fastest we've ever done was 2 guys in 7 hours. Any tips on speed?

WOW...I should have been using you for my wholesale prints. If I need some in the future, I will give you a try. 12 Hours to install 24+ sheets...30 mins each...8' tall x 52" with Rivets?? Does that include wiping down that whole trailer with prep-sol or alcohol?? Am I to "assume" you have a 53' scaffold setup (or ladders on fast golf cart )?? |
