What would be the going rate for 18" x 24" double sided
prints mounted on coroplast. These are for a real estate agent, printed on a versacamm? |

I will charge $50 (no lamination). 10% discount over 10.

How many?
I would typically do them for $60 and add discounts for quanity. Remember it takes 6 sq feet of vinyl to cover 18"x24" coroplast on each side, then you have the labor of install.

With a qty of 12 they would be signicantly cheaper. I would probably be around $30-$35 each and I could probably knock the job out in about 1-1.5 hours.

I was in a rush and charged $42.00 each for 12.
But mounted on 3mm PVC instead of Coroplast. And charged a seperate design fee. I guess I did ok. Still trying to figure out costs w/ this machine, got it yesterday and today was the first time printing. Thanks for the replies! |

wow,
our area is so cutthroat. & customers are too cheap. we struggle to get 15 for a 18x24 two sided. here in Western New York. but thats with simple "free" layouts for local lanscapers. its difficult to let little coroplast jobs slip through because they will take there truck work elseware. |

New Orleans is not that bad, we have the same problem. we sell the full color, one-sided coroplast signs for $14.00. the customers are way to cheap. But the key is to show them what just regular vinyl letters look like compared to the full color sign that you offer. After that most will settle down. |

In the Mpls area we sell 2side 2color 18x24 coro screen printed for 17.20 each (25 min) with a good stake (I have my own made for 1.75 each) I design the sign for free and have them printed for $200 for 25. That makes me about $200 for design (15min max) and emailing the file. I like that. If
they need full color or only a few I have been printing them on 3651. We then charge for the design and $30 each with the stake. Cost is 7.5 sf(figures 30"x 36") of printed 3651 (7.5x $.41= $3.08) and 5 minutes to apply 2 sides (.1 x $50 per hour= $5) plus $1 for coro and $ 1.75 for the stake. Total is $10.83. This is acceptable profit for me. I would charge $35 with a min of 5 if they need 1 day turnaround- which is common for poor planning realtors. Gene |
