Default Who needs paint when you can wrap !!

this is the car before the wrap

This was done with Arlon Vinyl hand laminated with their laminate and was printed using ROland cj500 with Triangle Inks.
I still have to add some small decals on the front section and finish where the hood meets the fender.

Well this Arlon Material I think is 80% better that 3M and about 50% better than Oracal. with wet application , once pressed into a negative contour, IT STAYS!
not to mention how easy the thicker backing paper makes handling and getting a straight tear when you installing alone.
the only tricky part of this install was the front bumper . It took longer than installing one whole side. I have to printed sections to wrap the ducts before the actual whole bumper wrap, this way I had 100% coverage on the bumper. This vinyl also seems to confort with less heat, in other words when I removed it from the liner and placed it on the bumper . when I pulled the edges without heat the vinyl was already conforming. I still havent gotten the hang of dry installing a large area. but Im not sure I will even try since its going so well by just misting the surface.

oh, Images used: Rusted iron on the rear is from istockphoto.com
the rusted diamond plate ,flames and brushed aluminum is also from istockphoto.com

the carbon fiber weeve was made using Photoshop plug in Eye Candy Textures.
The logos were created with photoshop cs2
