Not bad at all for an SP300... I imagine that job will make a couple of your payments...

I have done about 8 of those installs for a company out of California call Planton Graphics. Are they still printing them for A&F? Are they still using the junk BusMark vinyl they used in the past? If they are you may have issues with the vinyl not sticking very well to the Mal-Wal barricade you installed it on. It is amazing how a company will buy the cheapest vinyl they can just to save 2cents a square foot. Overall it looks good! Just out of curiosity what did you charge them to install the print?

Didn't realize I left out the part in my original post, this was an INSTALL (for Platon Graphics)
vinyl seem to stick well enough, in fact it was removing the cheap latex paint from the barricade when I repositioned it in a couple places.

I bid it by the request assuming they wanted it on a flat wall, didn't know they wanted it centered over the doors until the specific job info was received (would have charged more)

As for $$$.....$225.00 I quoted 65.00/hr for first person, 35.00/hr for second. Charged 1.5 hours at time and 1/2. due to Install was required to take place after mall closed (or before it opened)
It took 2 hours because of doors...and working around demolition crew coming in & out.

They jumped right on the bid, makes me think I left some money on the table. How does this price compare to yours?

Jus,

You did leave a little on the table. The last time I did an install for Mark at Planton I charged per sq ft. If I remember it was $2.25 or 2.50 per sq ft. When I did my first install with them many years ago they were the ones that mentioned per foot. There are some real tricks to installing those large prints to where you should not have to reposition the print. I'm also really glad to here they stopped using the Junk vinyl.

I guess that we got lucky not having to deal with a door on our install.

We used a laser level and hinged it when we did our install
