Default Air filtration

I am in the process of getting regulated heat into my shop and am wondering if I need to go the extra step and add in air filtration. I currently just have a wood stove, and that just isn't gonna cut it to keep it a consistent temp. My shop is a 20 x 36 with a man-door and a regular roll-up door. It is insulated but has a concrete floor and is also where I cut substrates and such. I am trying to make this more suitable for when I get my printer. Question is, how important is actual air filtration? I don't live on a gravel road or anything, and dust isn't a big concern, but how much attention should I give this? Reason I ask is the type of heat system I put in can either be with or w/o filtration. With it I am looking at about an extra $1000 because it would be a totally different heating system to accomodate the filter. I know there are cheaper alternatives to this, but also want to do it right. Any advice is appreciated.

This is a tough one that I don’t know for sure I can answer since our temperatures do not change much here in Texas.

Temperature and Humidity defiantly have an effect on your prints, from quality to drying times. Generally most machines have some type of Environment adjustments that you can run when the temperature and humidity change. It is also important to keep the air clean as dust particles can really mess up your prints. This is especially bad if they are in heavily covered dark areas.

Air filtration is always a good idea! Digital printing really does need a clean environment. In our shop we waist a lot of material because we don't have a good way of cleaning the air and removing the dust. In the long run it will save you money (time and materials). If you can afford it I would urge you to get the filtration system. It will save a lot of frustration.
