Default Colorspan9840 - new issues

Hello,

after resolving some previous issue with my CS (now it's a HP Scitex FB910) i have found some new.

1/ banding - bands are at right angles to the line of printing sth like that:

-------- > print direction (horizontal positon)
|||||||| v banding direction (vertical position)

have someone any idea what causes that ?

2/ electrostatics - do you know a good way to eliminate that in 100% We have tried to use special liquides and grounded cable.

Thank for your replys.

What's happening with your electrostatic issues? Are the prints cancelling mid-print? Are you receiving 011 errors?

Till now i've seen this message only twice the main case is that i've got sth like ink spreads/sprays on the prints and it doesn't look good which seems to be caused by electrostatic.

I've had V-Banding like that on my roland due to bi-directional calibration being off. Can you go in and check that on your HP?

i don't have V positon calibration only media feed calibration - in general this problem was solved by compleate cleanig of the machine and media feed, h2h calibration as i was told i have to do that from time to time to have situation under control.

Thanks for your help

It hasn't been made available for public download that I can see yet...and they haven't come around and done any updates either.

I'm running on it for several days (i have recived a copy that publicaton was stopped because of an critical error after replacing printheads, the one without this error should be relased today) and what can i tell about it there is change in overprint managment (there is right-left and leading-trailing overprint independent adjustment) and printer is called HP SCITEX FB910 since that relase

but it doesn't removed all issues i'm suffering off. I/O board replacing haven't done that alslo so now i'm waiting for new headbord - will see that help
