so....I'm trying to direct print onto polished granite and the ink doesn't want to stick very well. I have tried cleaning with alcohol, rapid prep, etc...... i have tried heating the granite with a torch before printing.

any thoughts?

I've never tried to put granite through my Seiko....

but enought humor and onto the UV question. Have you tried coating the granite with a clear lacquer prior to printing?

You're a genius! Bought a $3 can of Rustoleum Clear Enamel, sprayed and waited. Ran it through the machine and it stuff great!
