Yep, just got ours last week.
I'm still getting to grips with it but it is a nice bit of kit.

Default Gerber ink adhesion problem

Any Solar owners out there experiencing ink adhesiuon problems?
I'm hoping the samples Gerber sent us were not the norm.

All the test prints they sent us failed. they looked great but the ink came of too easily.

I placed some packing tape on a banner roll sample they sent me and the tape pulled the image clean off! I then tested all other printed samples and the same thing happened on coroplast & all others except the paper board. I am bummed.

I received similar samples from MacDermid and their samples were fine. I folded & creased teir materials and taped the heck out of them without worry. The ink did not budge. Heck, I couldn't even scratch it off. I'm very impressed with the Colorspan 5400 samples.

Ther Solara seems like a better unti (size-wise) but I'm not so sure.
