Default Linearisation and Measure tools

Does anybody know if is worth trying to do the versaworks linearisation using the measuretool testchart generator.
Since months I still have problems with my prints that are still to yellowish and there are also very flat on my SJ645EX and I still wonder how to improve this.
I newly own a PMP 5.0.2 and the linearisation in measure tool seems to allow a 6 color linearisation ! Any use for this ?
On the top of this I have no idea of the value I should give to the light cyan and light magenta for the 6 colors linearisation.

Well all input are most welcome !

Thanks to all !

Linearizations have to be done within the RIP.

Besides, if you're applying your icc to the tests, it should correct for minor yellow (grey balance) problems in the linearization.

Often yellow profile behavior is due to optical brighteners in the material phosphorescing into the UV spectrum, making your spectrophotometer think the material is much more blue than it appears to our eye. This is why you need either a UV filter on your spectro or icc software that is smart enough to correct for this with an unfiltered instrument.

The Eye-one I have is a UV cut one. So it shouldn't come from this.

What do you mean by applying the ICC the Tests ?

in other words, when you print a test is the icc actually converting the color?
As opposed to just testing the linearization/ink restrictions without the icc.
