My dealer is giving me a very good price plus free on-site installation and training. Someone I know from another town said he's been looking to buy a laminator for his sign shop. From his study of laminators he's suggesting that I may have made a mistake buying a cold laminator. He's definitely going to buy only a hot/cold laminator. He also has the Mimaki JV3-160SP.

I have one and it works just fine- It will laminate and mount great. I also have a "Big Squeegee" by Dale @ Handlaminator - I think this is a must have for any sign shop and a great addition to a stand alone laminator like a GBC...

Webbing a laminator is a PITA and takes some time. The Big Suqeegee is fast, easy and just plain works. The video on his web site just does not do the big squeegee justice (sorry Dale) just my opinion - you just have yo try it once and you will be hooked.

Sorry to go on about the squeegee ( and I am not a sales person for Dale) -But I like things that make my life easier.
