Default Cut Roller

I have a Titan 165 and unfortunatly someone in the shop cut the top roller. Now it leaves little bubbles where the cut is.

Does anyone know of a latex product that I can use to fill the cut? I visited a plastics store and saw a bunch of compounds that might work, but was wondering if any of you had experience with a roller repair. Maybe I am crazy, but I REALLY think "repair" is better than "replace" in this situation..... *gulp*
