If the logo is a circle as the ones I found when I had a quick look.
Just use the circle tool, resize the circle to the outside dimensions of the logo.
Select the red sox logo, go to effects go down to powerclips and select place inside container and click on the drawn circle, the logo should automatically centre in the powerclip if the default has been altered. If it doesn't right click on the logo and select edit contents and centre it that way, right click again and select finish editing.

Select the contour cut colour for the outline of the circle.

Export as an EPS. and it should work.

Hopefully this doesn't confuse you to much.
