The big thing is are there a large number of profiles availble for the Rip for your machine, or atleast for the materials you use. For the Roland printers it seems that Wasatch has the most profiles avaible. This is probably more due to every Roland Printer came with a copy for a few years.

It seems there are a lot more Mamiki and Seiko profiles for Onyx than a lot of the other Rips.
