Wrapping isnt so bad, the hard part is in the design. The hood for one, I have a couple of days in design and test parts to get everything to match without seaming the panel. If you look close you can see where the black parts go up on the hood and go back into the black diamond in the center. Of course you can't count on where the sides are going to fit exactly, so you basically have to build each panel as you go. We did the complete sides with one continuous decal. I have to say, I love control-tac. Its pretty amazing how well you can get that stuff to work with a little patience and a heat gun!!

One thing I did learn though. creating a one dimensional soccer ball pattern is a big challenge! When I agreed to do this job I was thinking that that pattern would be easy. then we started to draw it and realized that it was going to be a little difficult to make look right. We probably spent more time on design than installation. It will make me appreciate "normal" cars though!!
