Rivets don't come out. Those can be cleaned and wrapped. Those self-tapping screws need to come out. Vinyl does not stick the the coating very well. And they have way too much profile. Installation is so much easier with them out of the way. Speaking of which, I have a 16' trailer to do this afternoon. I don't even want to think about how many of those things I'll be taking out.
