I have it, but I can't tell you anything about it compared to the earlier version. I can only guess that it has more bells and whistles, but beware that the programming code for profiles and presets was changed and older versions will not work in the newer software. I can't say for sure if that is entirely true as it was told to me by my dealer and thats all I have to go on. Check that out first. I run a Mamaki jv3 130spII and there site has no profiles for it although it has profiles for the 160. You can load them but they do not show up in the selection list in the software as it knows I have a 130. I am not sure outside of an extra foot in printing capability the difference between the 130 and the 160. I also have communication problems with sometimes constant error 10's between the software and the printer. To date I have not had the problem reconciled and I am not sure if it is the software or firewire card or cable or printer. The dealer does not seem to be in any rush to resolve it and I wonder if it is indeed a problem known with no solutions. I run Photoprint 5 version 1. There is a version 3 available, but I am hesitant to load it as they (scanvec) have not made it available on their download site), which makes me wonder if I will be the guinea pig for it.
