My graphtec uses those teflon strips and they are the biggest rip off I have seen in the industry. Not sure why they cost so much. Everytime I have ordered them up here in Canada, they cost $50.00 each and when you get them the teflon is seperating from the adhesive as it sits in the bag. I assume that can't be good as the adhesive will dry out where exposed to air. I found that purchasing them from Advantage sign supply in the USA was a better deal even with the exchange rate. A year and a half ago they were $25 U.S. and I just ordered 3 more a few weeks ago and the price is now $35.00. They showed up and all 3 are seperating from the backing paper as usual. The other strange thing about the strip as that when you go to remove it from the plotter it completely seperates from the glue and you have to be careful to remove all the glue before applying the new strip. I have found the best way to remove it believe it or not is to rub your finger along the leading edge of the glue and it slowly seperates from the machine, although your finger tips are raw after doing it for 20 minutes...lol
